My mother taught me jewelry-making at a young age, when she owned a custom gift boutique. I treasured the time spent making jewelry with her, and seeing her and my Tia run this beautiful store, wherein they hand-painted custom gifts, constructed jewelry, and put together flower arrangements.
I so admired them in their creative endeavor, and the possibility of turning one's creativity into a business inspired me.
I learned wire-wrapping later in life, which opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for me, and I was introduced to the world of crystals. It never ceases to amaze me that our Earth produces these magically stunning gems.
